Subscription Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before starting a subscription.

1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Love from Ted, a UK-based business delivering curated dog subscription boxes.
These Subscription Terms & Conditions ("Subscription Terms") govern subscription purchases made through our website and form a legally binding agreement between you (the customer) and Love from Ted ("we", "us", "our").
By starting a subscription, you agree to be bound by these Subscription Terms, together with our Website Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with a subscription.

2. SUBSCRIPTION PRODUCTS
2.1 Subscription Availability
We currently offer Ted's Classic Box as our only subscription product.
Other boxes, including Puppy, Birthday, and Tough Chewer boxes, are available as one-off purchases only and are not eligible for subscription.
2.2 Dog Size Selection
Subscription boxes are available for dogs in the following size categories:
- Small
- Medium
- Large
Customers select their dog's size at checkout. Size guidance is provided on our website; however, suitability remains the responsibility of the dog owner.
2.3 Box Contents
Ted's Classic subscription boxes contain a curated selection of dog treats, toys, and enrichment items.
Box contents vary month to month based on themes, availability, and supplier stock. Exact contents are not guaranteed.
Where substitutions are required, replacement items will be of equal or greater value.
All products must be used under responsible adult supervision. Treats should be given in line with your dog's dietary needs. Please check labels carefully and contact us if your dog has allergies or special requirements.
3. ELIGIBILITY & UK-ONLY SERVICE
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under English law to start a subscription.
Subscriptions are available to UK customers only, and we currently deliver to UK addresses only. We reserve the right to cancel subscriptions placed outside the UK.
If you subscribe on behalf of another person (for example, as a gift), you confirm that you have their consent to provide any required personal data.
4. BILLING & PAYMENTS
4.1 Initial Payment
By starting a subscription, you authorise Love from Ted to take recurring subscription payments using the payment method provided at checkout.
Your first subscription payment is taken on the 1st day of the month following your subscription sign-up, provided you subscribed before the monthly cut-off (see Section 6).
Subscriptions placed after the monthly cut-off will be charged on the 1st day of the following month.
4.2 Recurring Payments
Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled.
Recurring payments are collected on the 1st day of each calendar month.
Only successfully paid subscriptions are included in fulfilment for that month's box.
If a payment fails, we will retry payment automatically before packing begins. If payment cannot be successfully collected, the subscription may be paused or cancelled for that month.
4.3 Payment Security
All payments are processed securely via our payment provider. We do not store full card details on our servers.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel subscriptions where we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, or stock issues. Where payment has already been taken and we cancel, a refund will be issued.
5. SHIPPING & DELIVERY
5.1 Delivery Area
Subscriptions are delivered to UK addresses only.
Delivery is £3.99 per box and will be added to your subscription total at checkout.
5.2 Delivery Responsibility
We use reputable UK delivery partners. We remain responsible for your subscription box until it is delivered to you.
If a parcel is marked as delivered but not received, please contact us promptly so we can investigate and agree a fair resolution.
6. SUBSCRIPTION DISPATCH RULES & CUT-OFF DATES
6.1 Monthly Subscription Cut-Off
The subscription cut-off is 23:59 on the last day of each calendar month.
Subscriptions placed on or before the last day of the month will receive the next month's subscription box.
Subscriptions placed after the cut-off will start with the following month's box.
Example:
- Subscribe on 30 September → receive the October box
- Subscribe on 1 October → receive the November box
Subscriptions do not ship immediately on sign-up. All subscription boxes are fulfilled as part of a monthly edition.
6.2 Dispatch Timing
Subscription boxes are packed 2–3 working days after payment is taken.
Boxes are dispatched in the first week of each calendar month, typically around the 5th.
Delivery times may vary depending on location and courier service, but most deliveries take place within a few working days of dispatch.
6.3 First Box Behaviour
Your first subscription box is always the next scheduled monthly edition.
We do not offer immediate or mid-cycle fulfilment for subscription orders.
6.4 Changes, Pauses & Cancellations
You may pause, skip, or cancel your subscription at any time up until the monthly cut-off (23:59 on the last day of the month) to prevent the next month's box from being processed.
Any changes made after the cut-off will apply to the following month's box.
Subscriptions can be managed via your customer account.
7. CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS & REFUNDS
7.1 Cooling-Off Period
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of your first subscription payment.
However, once a subscription box has been prepared or dispatched, the right to cancel for change of mind no longer applies due to the perishable and hygiene-sensitive nature of the products.
7.2 Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Boxes
If your subscription box arrives faulty, damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible by emailing Hello@LoveFromTed.uk with your order number and photos where possible.
Where a fault is confirmed, we will offer a replacement, refund, or store credit as appropriate, at no cost to you.
7.3 Subscription Refunds
Once a subscription payment has been taken and a box is being prepared or has been dispatched, refunds are not available unless the box is faulty, damaged, or not delivered.
7.4 Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Subscription Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
8. ACCOUNT RESPONSIBILITY
You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and secure. Any activity carried out under your account is your responsibility.
Please notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate subscriptions where misuse, fraud, or breaches of these terms are reasonably suspected.
9. PROMOTIONS & OFFERS
Subscription promotions or introductory offers may be subject to additional terms, including eligibility requirements, expiry dates, or product restrictions.
Promotions must be applied at checkout and cannot be added retrospectively. Offers are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All website content, branding, packaging, images, text, and designs are the intellectual property of Love from Ted or its licensors and are protected under UK intellectual property law.
Content may be viewed or printed for personal, non-commercial use only.
11. USER-GENERATED CONTENT
By submitting reviews, testimonials, photographs, or tagging us publicly, you grant us permission to share that content for promotional purposes.
If you wish for content to be removed, please contact us and we will assist.
We reserve the right to moderate or remove content that is unlawful, misleading, or infringes third-party rights.
12. DISCLAIMERS & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Products must be used under responsible adult supervision. Dogs vary in dietary needs and chewing behaviour, and product suitability remains the owner's responsibility.
Nothing in these Subscription Terms limits liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Breach of statutory rights
Where legally permitted, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant subscription box.
13. SUPPLY ISSUES & FORCE MAJEURE
If events beyond our reasonable control affect supply or delivery, we may delay dispatch, substitute items of equal or greater value, or cancel subscriptions with a refund where appropriate.
14. MISCELLANEOUS
14.1 Governing Law
These Subscription Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
14.2 Entire Agreement
These Subscription Terms, together with our Website Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Love from Ted.
14.3 Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
14.4 Amendments
We may update these Subscription Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when published on our website.
