1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Love from Ted — a UK-based business delivering curated dog boxes designed to bring joy to dogs and their humans.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the purchase of our products. They form a legally binding agreement between you (the customer) and Love from Ted ("we", "us", "our").
By accessing our website, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
Love from Ted offers curated dog boxes available as subscription products and one-off purchases.
2.1 Dog Size Selection
All boxes are available for dogs in the following size categories:
- Small
- Medium
- Large
Customers select their dog's size during checkout. Size guidance is provided on our website; however, the suitability of any size selection remains the responsibility of the dog owner.
2.2 Subscription Boxes
We currently offer Ted's Classic Box as our only subscription product.
Ted's Classic subscription boxes are delivered on a recurring monthly basis and contain a rotating selection of dog treats, toys, and enrichment items.
Box contents vary from month to month depending on seasonal themes, availability, and supplier stock. Exact contents are not guaranteed.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled in accordance with our Subscription Terms & Conditions, which form part of your agreement with us.
2.3 One-Off Boxes
The following boxes are available as one-off purchases only and do not form part of a recurring subscription:
- Ted's Classic (one-off version)
- Puppy Box
- Birthday Box
- Tough Chewer Box
One-off boxes are suitable for gifting, special occasions, or customers who prefer not to subscribe. Contents are curated for each box type but may vary depending on availability.
2.4 Box Contents & Product Use
Each box typically contains a curated selection of dog treats, toys, and other dog-friendly products.
Exact contents are not guaranteed. Where substitutions are required, replacement items will be of equal or greater value.
All products must be used under responsible adult supervision. Treats should be given in line with your dog's dietary needs. Please check product labels carefully and contact us before ordering if your dog has allergies or special requirements.
We reserve the right to update or modify box contents, product offerings, sizing guidance, and box formats at any time.
3. ELIGIBILITY & UK-ONLY SERVICE
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts under English law to place an order or use our services.
Our website and services are intended for UK customers only. We currently deliver to UK addresses and reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders placed outside the UK.
If you place an order on behalf of another person (for example, as a gift), you confirm that you have their consent to provide any necessary personal information for fulfilment and delivery.
4. ORDERS AND PAYMENTS
4.1 One-Off Boxes
Payment for one-off boxes is taken in full at checkout using our secure payment provider.
Delivery charges for one-off boxes are displayed clearly at checkout before payment is taken.
One-off orders are usually processed and dispatched within 2–3 working days.
Due to the perishable and hygiene-sensitive nature of our products, we do not accept returns for change of mind on one-off boxes unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect (see Section 7).
4.2 Subscription Orders
Subscriptions are monthly and automatically renew unless cancelled.
Subscriptions are currently available for Ted's Classic Box only.
Subscription billing, cut-off dates, dispatch timing, cancellations, and cooling-off rights are governed by our Subscription Terms & Conditions, which form part of your agreement with us and should be read carefully before subscribing.
Recurring subscription payments are collected on the 1st day of each calendar month.
Subscriptions do not ship immediately on sign-up. First boxes are always fulfilled as part of the next scheduled monthly delivery.
4.3 Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely via our payment provider. We do not store full card details on our servers.
We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any order where we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, or stock issues. Where payment has already been taken and an order is cancelled by us, a refund will be issued.
5. SHIPPING & DELIVERY
We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom only.
Delivery is £3.99 per box for both subscription and one-off boxes, and is added to your total at checkout.
5.1 Subscription Boxes
Subscription boxes are dispatched in the first week of each calendar month, following successful payment.
Dispatch typically occurs a few working days after payment is taken. Delivery times may vary depending on location and courier service.
5.2 One-Off Boxes
One-off boxes are usually dispatched within 2–3 working days of order confirmation.
We use reliable UK delivery partners. While we aim to meet stated dispatch times, delays may occasionally occur due to circumstances beyond our control.
If a parcel is marked as delivered but you believe it has not been received, please contact us promptly so we can investigate and agree a fair resolution.
6. SUBSCRIPTIONS – IMPORTANT NOTICE
All subscription-specific rules, including:
- Monthly cut-off dates
- Payment timing
- Dispatch schedules
- First box behaviour
- Pausing, skipping, and cancelling
- Refunds and cooling-off rights
are set out in our Subscription Terms & Conditions.
In the event of any conflict between these Website Terms and the Subscription Terms, the Subscription Terms & Conditions will prevail in relation to subscription orders.
7. RETURNS, REPLACEMENTS & REFUNDS
We comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations where applicable.
7.1 Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect, please notify us within 5 calendar days of delivery by emailing Hello@LoveFromTed.uk, including your order number and photos where possible.
Where a product is confirmed to be faulty or not as described, we will offer a replacement, refund (full or partial), or store credit as appropriate.
7.2 Non-Returnable Items
Due to hygiene and perishability reasons, we cannot accept returns for change of mind on treats, toys, or consumable pet products.
7.3 Subscription Refunds
Once a subscription payment has been taken and a box is being prepared or has been dispatched, refunds are not provided unless the box is faulty, damaged, or not delivered.
7.4 Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
8. ACCOUNT RESPONSIBILITY
When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where misuse, fraud, or breaches of these Terms are reasonably suspected.
9. PROMOTIONS AND DISCOUNTS
We may offer promotions, discount codes, or introductory offers from time to time. These are subject to the terms stated at the time of the offer and may include expiry dates or product restrictions.
Discounts must be applied at checkout and cannot be added retrospectively. Promotions are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
All content on our website, packaging, and marketing materials — including text, designs, images, logos, and branding — is the intellectual property of Love from Ted or its licensors and is protected by UK intellectual property law.
Content may be viewed or printed for personal, non-commercial use only.
11. USER-GENERATED CONTENT
By submitting reviews, testimonials, images, videos, or tagging us publicly, you grant us permission to share this content for promotional purposes.
If you wish for content to be removed, please contact us and we will assist.
12. DISCLAIMERS & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
All products must be used under responsible adult supervision. Dogs have individual dietary and chewing needs, and product suitability remains the responsibility of the owner.
We are not liable for delays caused by third-party carriers or events beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Breach of statutory rights
Where legally permitted, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant product.
13. SUPPLY ISSUES & FORCE MAJEURE
Where events beyond our reasonable control affect supply or delivery, we may delay dispatch, substitute items of equal or greater value, or cancel orders with a refund where appropriate.
14. MISCELLANEOUS
14.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
14.2 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Subscription Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Love from Ted.
14.3 Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
14.4 Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
